Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Aing Kimsan Bicycle Shop & Rental, we prioritize customer satisfaction and aim to provide a seamless experience. We have outlined our Refund and Cancellation Policy for rentals, purchases, and services to ensure transparency. Please review the terms carefully before making a booking or purchase.

Refund Policy

1. Bicycle and Motorcycle Rentals

• Full Refund Eligibility:
  • Customers who cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled rental start time are eligible for a full refund.
  • Refunds will be processed within seven business days of the cancellation request, subject to a 10% administrative fee to cover ABA bank transaction fees and administrative costs.
• Partial Refunds:
  • Cancellations made 24-48 hours before the rental start time will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
• Non-Refundable:
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the rental start time are non-refundable.
  • No refunds will be provided for early returns or unused rental periods.

2. Purchases of Bikes and Gears

• Return Period:
  • Returns are accepted within 14 days of purchase, provided the item is in unused, original condition, with tags and packaging intact.
• Refund Process:
  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method within 7-10 business days after the product inspection.
  • All returned items except defective products are subject to a 10% restocking fee, which includes ABA bank transaction fees and administrative costs.
• Non-Refundable Items:
  • Custom-built bikes, clearance sale items, and gift cards are non-refundable.
  • Defective products will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at no additional cost.

3. Service Refunds

• Refunds for bike servicing are only provided if the service was not performed as agreed or if a proven issue was caused during servicing. Requests must be made within 3 days of the service date.

Cancellation Policy

1. Rental Cancellations

• Advance Bookings:
  • Customers can cancel their rental bookings up to 48 hours prior for a full refund, subject to a 10% administrative fee.
• Same-Day Bookings:
  • Same-day bookings are non-cancellable and non-refundable.

2. Guided Tours and Group Packages

• Group Tours:
  • Cancellations for group tours must be made at least 7 days in advance for a full refund, subject to a 10% administrative fee.
  • Cancellations made 3-7 days prior will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable.

3. Special Events and Customized Bookings

• For events such as charity rides or tailored group tours, cancellations are only eligible for refunds if made 10 days before the event date. A 20% non-refundable deposit applies to all bookings.

Important Notes:

• Refunds will not cover transaction fees charged by third-party payment processors.
• Aing Kimsan Bicycle Shop & Rental reserves the right to modify or cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather or safety concerns. Customers will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule in such cases.
